Joseph Mitchell Memorial

The mission of the Joseph Mitchell Memorial is to continue Joseph's legacy by supporting First Responders in their pursuit of furthering their education in serving others. Our vision is to financially support future and current First Responders in their academic pursuits. To seek to connect the recipient with a First Responder actively working in their desired field to serve as a mentor in their academic journey. 

Started with the help of Joseph's friends and family, we will continue to honor him and others who have given their lives in the line of duty.

UPDATE: Exciting News about the Joseph Mitchell Memorial Run! 

Dear friends and supporters,

We have some fantastic updates to share regarding the Joseph Mitchell Memorial Run, which was originally scheduled for November 18th. We've made some important changes to make it even more inclusive and impactful!

NEW DATES: The Joseph Mitchell Memorial Run will now be a virtual event and will run through the end of the year until December 31, 2023. This extended timeline gives everyone more flexibility to participate and show their support for our First Responders.

GOAL: Our goal is to have 100 participants in this extended virtual run and raise funds for three valuable scholarships that will make a real difference in the lives of deserving individuals.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS: We are excited to announce that we're reopening the scholarship application process until December 23rd, giving more individuals and departments the opportunity to apply. Let's help spread the word so we can assist those who support our incredible First Responders.

FREE T-SHIRT & MEDAL: As a token of our appreciation, all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a participation medal to remember this special event.
